So the Township of North Barrington, IL tried to pull a NY and hold an 'emergency session' to ban guns. :
Village officials are claiming justification to divert from the normal 48-hour required notice for the meeting because Friday, July 19 is the deadline for such action by Illinois municipalities and the board is unable to meet at any other time before then.So an issue that's been on the news regularly for months and which the Gov. even manipulated the system to give these towns an extra month to do it and they 'just' managed to get in a meeting?
BS. They were afraid of the meeting being swamped by the real '90%' so they had to try and slip one by.
It still failed.
This is gun control in action.
