Since they can't win through the courts, legislatures or even the media and all their attempts to get people to change their minds through sit at homes and lemonade stands have failed, they're trying a new tactic, calling the police and claiming 'disorderly conduct' to get firearm owners arrested.
Original article here. A woman claimed she was 'freaked out' by some guys legally carrying firearms. Apparently that's a crime in itself. So MDA members are going to start calling the police because 'A few arrests will make everyone rethink what they are doing'. Right back atcha' since filing a false report is a crime as well.

Still Wondering Where That '90%' Is
On the Anti-gun side that is. Everywhere there's a dual turn-out, the ratios are reversed.
Luczyk was one of a half dozen members of the group Mayors Against Illegal Guns who hosted the rally in the Arena District on Friday...Popular support for 'gun control' is a myth. That's why they push so hard when there's a tragedy and the media is paying attention to them.
About 50 guns-rights supporters were on hand, some with rifles over their shoulders and others with handguns in hip holsters.

Chicago PD Chief: We'll Shoot CCW Holders Because We Suck
Chicago Police Chief says he'll train his officers to shoot licensed CCW holders.
I’ll train our officers that there is a concealed carry law, but when somebody turns with a firearm in their hand the officer does not have an obligation to wait to get shot to return fire and we’re going to have tragedies as a result of that. I’m telling you right up front. His justification? Well CCW holders don't have as much training as police and the CPD shoot innocents all the time.
Police officers make mistakes all the time,” McCarthy said. “We spend six months in the police academy, six months of field training and ongoing training on a regular basis and the fact is once in a while we’re going to shoot someone with a cellphone; we’re going to shoot somebody with a flashlight and none of that is okay.Isn't that just special? Goes right along w/ the NGAC and the NYPD, doesn't it? Basically he's saying he's going to train his officers to yell 'They're coming right for us' before they shoot anyone they think is carrying.

NGAC: Oppose CCW Because NYPD Sucks
That is their argument. The NYPD have crappy guns and can't shoot worth a sh!t so we should disarm non-police.
Because no one can possibly be more effective or efficient than a gov't agency. And we can always trust the gov't.
Right?

Why Are Anti-Gun Advocates So Violent?
New Jersey delegate and anti-gun fanatic Joseph Morrissey has a long history of assault and criminal neglect w/ firearms among other things.
Now he's under investigation for 'involvement' w/ a minor.
Probably wants to keep the dad disarmed.

More Correlations To MAIG and Violence
A few weeks ago, an anti-gun group posted a list of 'violent cities' to show that there needs to be more gun control. There was a stronger correlation to Democrat control and MAIG membership than there was to firearm laws.
Well the CSGV put out a list of 'mass shootings' last weekend. Mostly committed by gang members and prohibited persons. Just a cursory look shows again it's more dangerous to live in cities w/ mayors who follow Bloomberg's group.
For the safety of yourself and your children, if you live in a MAIG city, move now.

The 'Only One' Law that Slipped By...
Remember that toothless law that got signed by Quinn the other day? The one w/ no penalties if you don't follow it and has never been enforced? Well turns out there was another amendment added to it. One that adds more exceptions/privileges to police that regular citizens aren't granted:
An active lawFor all the talk anti's give to 'keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally ill' and attacking military veterans suffering from PTSD, every single anti-gun politician in Chicago voted for this. Chicago based 'National Gun Victims Action Council' has so far refused to comment while at the same time claiming that the NRA 'supports guns in the hands of the mentally ill'. Isn't that just special? Double standards galore.
enforcement officer employed by a unit of government who isdenied, revoked, or has his or her Firearm Owner'sIdentification Card seized under this subsection (e) mayobtain relief as described in subsection (c-5) of Section10 of this Act if the officer did not act in a mannerthreatening to the officer, another person, or the publicas determined by the treating clinical psychologist orphysician, and the officer seeks mental health treatment
Why We Win...
Anti-gun activists spend more time obsessing about what's in my pants than about how to be a successful activist.
Thanks guys. Your support is appreciated.
Hey, don't comments like that fall under the 'Extremist' category put out by the DOJ?

Those 'Extremist' Founding Fathers..
Well yeah, they were 'extremist'. They had this radical notion that the 'divine right of kings' was a really stupid idea. They developed this idea after trying for years to get some sort of comprise and having troops quartered in their homes and shot at for their trouble. For thinking these radical thoughts, a government "Equal Opportunity" training manual has lumped them into the same category as the KKK and New Black Panthers.
Unfortunately I'm not kidding:
And motives?
But of course this isn't the first time (nor the last) the government has put out things like this. Reports, pamphlets, and alerts are regularly issued to try and dehumanize those who follow the nations historical ideals. Just one more category to add to my 'insurrectionist' credentials.
Unfortunately I'm not kidding:
3. Extremism – A term used to describe the actions or ideologies of individuals or groups who take a political idea to its limits, regardless of unfortunate repercussions, and show intolerance toward all views other than their own.
4. Extremist – A person who advocates the use of force or violence; advocates supremacist causes based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or national origin; or otherwise engages to illegally deprive individuals or groups of their civil rights.(pg 35)
In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.(pg 43)And what do 'extremists' do?
2. According to George and Wilcox, there are a number of specific traits or behaviors that tend to represent the extremist style. As a caution, we are all fallible human beings, and some of us may resort to these behaviors from time to time without bad intentions. With extremists, these lapses are not occasional; rather, they are habitual and a strongly established part of an extremist’s character.Hmmm. Sounds like every anti-gunner I've ever met but I digress. They go on to list other 'extremist' historical events. The Holocaust, Cambodia, OKC and 9/11. (pg 44).
a. Character assassination
b. Name calling and labeling
c. Irresponsive sweeping generalizations
d. Inadequate proof behind assertions
e. Tendency to view opponents and critics as essentially evil
m. Emphasis on emotional responses, less so on reasoning and logical analysis
And motives?
Nowadays, instead of dressing in sheets or publicly espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place. These buttnuggets are about as subtle as a truck bomb aren't they?
But of course this isn't the first time (nor the last) the government has put out things like this. Reports, pamphlets, and alerts are regularly issued to try and dehumanize those who follow the nations historical ideals. Just one more category to add to my 'insurrectionist' credentials.

Us v Them part Something +1
Running tables at a flea market this weekend continued the trend of the '90%' falsity. I saw at least half a dozen people walking around w/ an NRA shirt they had gotten at a youth hunting/shooting exhibition. All were members (including the kids) and proud to show it.
One guy walked by my booth, read Seans' 'Gunwalker' tshirts (I have one M and one 2XL left), and started ranting about the NRA. Asked me if I was a member to which I replied 'Yes'. He started ranting again about how he much he hated it, obviously looking for an argument. I looked at him and simply replied 'You have that right' and went on to another customer.
Other than him, lots of expressed displeasure at the current administration and support for firearm rights.
