The Gun Control Laundering Scam

We hear from time to time “Wayne La’pierre makes a million kajillion dollars off of the death machine gun manufacturers”.  Of course it’s a fact that the NRA receives less than 15% of its hundreds of millions in resources from ‘gun manufacturers’ and those manufacturers themselves are supported by firearm owners throughout the nation.  The NRA also has 4-5 million dues paying members.  LaPierre makes a bit under $1m.
Now let’s take a look at some of the anti-gun group’s compensation packages.  Note that most of these are shoe-box operations run out of tiny offices the size of my den or PO boxes. Most are  heavily, if not primarily, funded by Bloomberg, the Joyce Foundation, and/or Soros.

The classic ‘Violence Policy Center’, Josh Sugarmann and Kristen Rand: $300k/year

Ceasefire PA, Shira Goodman :$$100,575
Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV): Josh Horwitz: $125,000

Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence, Colleen Daley: $110,750

MomsRising Education Fund
Kristin Roowe-Finkbeiner (president) $154,000
Julie Hanamura (treasurer): $115,000

Brady Campaign:
Dan Gross; $400,000
The 8 other execs rake in nearly $950,000 combined, not including what Sarah Brady was getting (another $100k+)

Now in comparison, let’s take a look at a couple of pro-rights groups:
Illinois State Rifle Assoc: Richard Pearson ; $87,000 (an organization w/ 15-20,000 actual members and multiple facilities.)
Virginia Citizens Defense League, Phillip Van Cleave ; $61,800
Second Amendment Foundation (funds similar to Brady Campaign)
Joe Tartaro; $28,471
Alan Gottlieb; $43, 602

The anti-groups spend on average roughly 1/3 to 1/2 of their income on Exec salaries alone.  What a racket.

Brady Campaign: Failure Followed By Libel?

Danny boy's getting really unhinged in this holiday season.
Wayne’s World is filled to the brim with armed vigilantes and every person - no matter how dangerous - has access to a gun. In Wayne's world, even kids can be sent off to school with a full lunchbox and a loaded Glock. And because of the NRA's youth-focused marketing, they'll already know how to use it.
As we keep asking, if their case is so strong.... why lie?

Brady Campaign: Celebrating Failure

So the latest Brady email begging for money.  This one from the 'Million Mom March' representative, you remember, that group that was a one hit wonder over 16 years ago and then folded into the Brady bunch while under investigation for tax fraud.
This year alone, Brady Campaign advocates created monumental change and action at a time when Americans needed it most. You put in more than 150,000 calls to Congress. That spurred Senator Chris Murphy's history-making filibuster in the Senate to support expanding Brady background checks to all gun sales and Congressman John Lewis's historic sit-in in the House. We supported the first Presidential candidate in history to run on a gun violence prevention platform. And, just last month, the Brady Center capped off a successful year with a historic settlement in a case against an irresponsible gun dealer. This is all because of you!
Let's break this down, shall we?

You put in more than 150,000 calls to Congress. That spurred Senator Chris Murphy's history-making filibuster in the Senate to support expanding Brady background checks to all gun sales

Which failed

Congressman John Lewis's historic sit-in in the House

Which turned into a laughing stock as it was revealed they were offered pillows, blankets, catered meals, and took shifts while lamenting how hard they had it.

We supported the first Presidential candidate in history to run on a gun violence prevention platform

Who lost. To a Cheeto.

the Brady Center capped off a successful year with a historic settlement in a case against an irresponsible gun dealer.

No mention of that whole 'Lucky Gunner' case where they left the (Brady Campaign employed) litigants holding the bag for $200K in legal fees.  One 'victory' out of the whole 'successful' year.

Yeah.

Celebrating failure.
