PSH being defined as going into such absolute conniptions over anything firearms that you are likely to mess yourself, this is a textbook example from the 'Protest Easy Guns' FB page

This individual is from Arizona. Think about just how stupid that fact makes this comment. Arizona has been a 'Shall Issue' state since 1994, that's 18 years. It's been 'Constitutional Carry' for over a year and a half and this individual JUST NOW decided to stain her shorts over carrying firearms since there's been such a run on shootings in AZ Starbucks up till now.

And the 'Like'? Why the PEG-heads of course.

This isn't caring about reducing violence or crime, this is pure fear. Fear to the point that it is diminishing their capacity to function in society, iow these people are suffering from a mental illness and should begin to seek counseling.

Paying Criminal's Medical Bills

Two anti-gun bills were introduced today in the Illinois Legislature. One is Rahm's handgun registration, the other is a tax on ammo. Here's the text for the ammo tax bill:

Amends the Use Tax Act, Service Use Tax Act, Service Occupation Tax Act, and Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Imposes a 2% surcharge on firearm ammunition. Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the High Crime Trauma Center Grant Fund. Requires the 2% surcharge to be deposited into the Fund. Subject to appropriation, authorizes the Department of Public Health to make grants to trauma centers in high crime areas. Effective immediately.

So it creates another 'fund' which the governor can sweep from whenever he wants and will make grants to 'trauma centers in high crime areas', in effect, taxing target shooters and hunters to pay for crimes committed in (primarily) Chicago. Being that the majority of shooting victims are also engaged in some form of criminal activity and/or are criminals themselves, we would be subsidizing the medical bills of the criminal underworld of the city.

The only purpose of the 'handgun registration' is to add another $65 to the cost of a handgun and to create more criminals (a Class 2 Felony which also includes aggravated assault w/ a weapon, arson and manslaughter) when people don't register them or forget to re-register (unless you're a Chicago Alderman named Mell)

There is no 'crime control', this is another attempt to fleece firearm owners for every dollar they can while they try and make ownership as onerous and expensive as possible.

Toy Soldiers

You know what's really hard to find nowadays? Army guys. The little plastic soldiers we played w/ as kids. They used to be everywhere, now barely anyone carries them. Even dollar stores and drug stores rarely have them in stock (at least around here). I'm lucky enough that my mom didn't throw out the survivors from my many battles and my boys play w/ them now. Some of them are even collector's items.

About 6 months ago, I decided to try and change that. I picked up a few cases to put out on the tables at the flea markets and gun shows. Without exception, they could have had wings they've flown so fast. I've sold out several times. One wonders why his 'members' and 'supporters' who, as he also claims, 'outnumber the NRA extremist faction 50:1' were themselves outnumbered well over 50:1 and the NRA didn't have anything to do w/ it?

Why? because there is no 'formula', just more Sudoku Math where he plugs in whatever numbers he thinks fit the square.

Telling, isn't it? Male, female, it doesn't matter. They are obsessed w/ our genitalia. And these aren't quotes for 20+ years ago like Ladd likes to use on his 'MeettheNRA' site, this was yesterday and today. These are the people that DEMAND we accept their 'reasonable, common-sense' solutions to 'gun violence' (in reality 'gun ownership) while they are unable to get their minds out of our pants.

Model Rocketry and Other Terrorist Indicators

Uncle has a post up on an FBI pamphlet stating that paying cash at an internet cafe is a potential indicator of terrorism.

The stupidity continues in their other industry specific pamphlets including Surplus which we've talked about earlier. Some other 'indicators':

Reading about 'weapons'.

Reading 'Revolutionary' literature.

Not wanting people to read over your shoulder.

Being a model rocket or plane enthusiast. If you're learning about it and don't know much yet? That's also an indicator.

Wanting to start a paintball team.

Building a paintball course.

Wearing a backpack in warm weather.

While this comes as no surprise from the agency that declared referencing the US Constitution is a sign of 'extremism', one wonders how much further into ridiculousness the FBI can go before people pay as much attention to them as they did to the DHS 'Threat Level".
