I went to a video editor to have some fun.  Got some neat frame by frame when I hit the pineapple cans :

 Then out came the 10/22 and I heard audible thanks from my shoulder.  The scope was switched over from the AR so it took some major readjustment. I basically just followed the dirt sprays, cranked it a few times, and repeated until I got in onto the target.After a bit of that, I got some nice consistent groupings.  (low from my jerking the trigger. I was shooting fast):

Good enough for now.  Tonight is gaming.

Her response to the NRA ad calling out Obama's hypocrisy (via emai)

 Did you see the NRA leadership's commercial invoking President Obama's daughters? It made me livid. The ad is deplorable, and it needs to be taken off the air.

You don't go after the President's children – or anyone's children...

The ad must be pulled off the air immediately. Stand with me and send that message to the NRA leadership.

That's right. For the gun control message to be successful, the NRA must be censored. The FACT that the very same Gov't officials who decry the call to put police officers in school infact send their own children to schools w/ armed security must be erased.  This is SOP for anti-gun activists. Since they can't win on their own merits, they must try and shut (or shout) down the opposition. Their hostility is also enabling potential violence against NRA officials. 

They are ignorant and they are liars. 

And they think they have the moral authority and right to control your lives.

I Take It As A Sign

Three separate orders made on different days all showed up today:

Boresights for 7.62x54R, 7.62x39, and .223 along w/ a sling for the Mosin-Nagant.

Obviously I MUST go out to the range this weekend and test it all out. The fates demand it.

I Fired a Stockpile' of Ammo Last Weekend Apparently

and will be hopefully firing another this weekend.

  the landlord called police who found an AK-47 and a” stockpile” of ammunition, said Mirabelli.

“Inside, officers found nearly 400 rounds of ammunition for the rifle, extended magazines with ammunition and 36 rounds for a .357,’’ Mirabelli said.

 Less than 450 rounds. Wow. I just bought more than that for ONE of my guns. 

Nevermind the facts that the guy had is FOID 'revoked' (why they don't say) so he couldn't buy ammo and had a firearm illegal in Chicago. 

Obviously we need MORE laws.

The Bills Are Piling Up

In Illinois, Acevedo throws the same turds against the wall as he did during the lame duck hoping they will be stickier this time. Effectively bans on all semi-autos and punishing victims of crime by making them criminals. 

Federally a truly stupid piece of nonsense gets introduced giving tax credits to people who turn in guns.  Under the specific purpose as a  “program to reduce the number of privately owned weapons,”

At least this nitwit is honest enough to admit the real purpose of gun control instead of trying to hide it under the guise of 'safety'.

Defense Secretary Panetta: Ignorant Fudd on Firearms

"I mean who the hell needs armor-piercing bullets except you guys in battle?" 

 Oh but it's ok. he's a lifelong hunter:

Why that's the same thing that IANSA got (alleged) hunters to say before they did sweeping bans in Australia that continue to be expanded today. 

 So we've got a 'Defense Secretary' that doesn't actually know much about firearms except what he's been told about by the Clinton and Obama administrations.

I feel safer now.

 Wow. That's pretty inflammatory. Gets people to visualize child sized coffins being shot at, doesn't it? Now let's look at the actual targets from the 'App':



It takes a real stretch of the imagination to see those as 'coffins'.  Of course the anti's like visualizing children and others being killed. It's the only way they can pay the bills.

Remember that Brady Campaign video from about two years ago? Let's look again at the targets they created for use in it.

 

So who's got the sick minds?  The ones going out and plinking cans and targets on the weekends or the ones imagining 'coffins' and little girl shaped silhouettes?  

I think we all know the answer to those questions. Especially in light of some of their highest 'liked' comments on the page:

These are the kinds of visions gun control extremists have for America.

Suspicious 'Moms'

A new 'million moms' anti-gun group is started by a single person on Dec 14th, right after the Sandy Hook school shootings.  Less than 4 days later they're receiving national press in USA Today and within a few weeks have enough funding to organize rallies across the nation. 

But they're "unaffiliated with any other organization or political party. We were independently founded on Dec. 14, 2012."

 With a nice handy link to Bloomberg's MAIG from a 'Fortune 500 Networker'.  Just like the preprinted, customizable signs that showed up hours after the shooting. 




I call BullSh!t. This was planned and prepared just waiting for the next tragedy to exploit.  The Anti's have been proven to be coordinating their media activities using public and private email, funds and networks.  This is just one more that will eventually be discovered to be funded by the same groups (Bloomberg/Joyce Foundation) as the others. Just watch.
