Gov't Motors (GM)/OnStar Will Track Your Car All The Time

As if this should be a surprise to anyone:
Navigation-and-emergency-services company OnStar is notifying its six million account holders that it will keep a complete accounting of the speed and location of OnStar-equipped vehicles, even for drivers who discontinue monthly service.
Then they're going to give that data to the Gov't 'when requested' and sell it to credit card companies, telemarketers and anyone else they think they can make a buck from.

So anyone who thought that OnStar was only going to be used for 'emergency services', I told you so.

They're just following the cell service providers' example.

Just wait until speeding violation tickets start appearing in your mail box. If they have location, time and speed then it is simple for you to be fined. (It may be that their only burden of proof is that you were the driver at the time).
