Chicago Crime is Still Spiking

A school district spokeswoman said this week's shooting death of Franco Avila means 27 students have been killed, eclipsing last year's 26 for the entire school year. In 2006-07, there were 32 students killed in the school year, according to a Tribune tally. -Chicago Tribune
There was an apparent drop in January but, as is the historical trend, that has reversed.

Welcome to Chicago.

So when will we start compiling how many of these "school student" shootings were gang related?

Or perhaps we should ban schools in Chicago since they seem to attract lead projectiles?

You mean there are, and MANY of them?

Hmmm, maybe one more will help.
