Close the "Police Gun" loophole NOW!!

Since it's been shown by incontrovertible anecdotes that the police can't be trusted to possess firearms, extreme reasonable measures must be taken. The following actions should be enacted to prevent any further abuses:

1. All Law Enforcement Personnel must be registered and the data entered into a federal database. Said database is to be referred to as the Law Enforcement Weapons Database.

2. The home address and phone numbers of said personnel are to be published on a semi-annual basis in the local news media.

3. All Law Enforcement service firearms are to be kept stored and locked at their assigned stations at all times unless said personnel are under a specific threat. A signed order by a judge is required for release of a firearm and can not be in excess of 4 hours.

4. Since Law Enforcement Personnel are in possession of service firearms, no personally owned firearms are needed. In such cases that the LEP believe there is a need for a personally owned firearm, said LEP can petition the courts for an exemption. Any firearms exempted should only be useful for the expressed need and will also be stored at the station facility.

Any legislators who opposes these reasonable measures to prevent any further tragedies are obviously under the influence of the gun lobby and their extremist agenda to arm all police.

TAKE ACTION NOW!!!!
