A 23-year-old man was killed and a woman wounded in a shooting this morning at a public housing complex on Chicago's North Side.
The incident occurred about 3:20 a.m. in one of the buildings of the Lathrop Homes, in the 2700 block of North Hoyne Avenue, police said.
The survivor, a 42-year-old woman, was reported in serious condition at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
No one was in custody.
