Reasoned Discourse on the Examiner

A few days ago I posted a link to a rambling collection of words on the Examiner site.

This idiot, name of Clifford Bryan, thinks that crime in NOLA is a conspiracy by 'whitey' against blacks. Clifford Bryan is also a firm believer in Reasoned Discourse. After denying that he (Clifford Bryan) plagiarized Brady Campaign lawyer Dennis Henigan, he (Clifford Bryan) then deleted the majority of my posts including the one showing the comparison:

Clifford Bryan's post:
In defense over 80% of gun owners support extending Brady Act background checks to private sales at gun shows. Even most self-identified members of the National Rifle Association support handgun registration and mandatory safety training before purchasing a firearm.
Written 4 days after this:
But it is also true that over 80% of gun owners support extending Brady Act background checks to private sales at gun shows. Even most self-identified members of the National Rifle Association support handgun registration and mandatory safety training before purchasing a firearm.
Yet he (Clifford Bryan) states:
@Third Yes I deny it and I am upset you would call me out like that.I leave links to any material I use.

So he's upset he got caught. Wonder how much else of his 'writing' is original? This guy is the epitome of gun control activism. We need more like him.

Update: Seems he's finally recognized (at least partially) the error of his ways. After initially denying he'd done so, he linked to Henigan's blog post.

There's a lot of this going around lately...

"But beneath the carnival atmosphere the air is thick with conspiracy theories about the King of Pop's death. Standing in front of the empty lot next to the theater - as white sightseers with digital cameras rush by - a middle-aged black man in green sweatpants cuts through a conversation bubbling up about Demerol, concert promoters and a racist press. Andre Murray thunders, "We wouldn't be surprised if those racist assholes killed him!"

Good thing only white conservative gun owners can be considered potential domestic terrorists.

Nice touch with the hilariously incessant links to the NRA donation page too. That there is some funny sheit!

Let's not be too hard on the guy. I steal 90% of what I write directly from you, and it's working out so far. Maybe he's on to something.

Sure, but you at least have the integrity to paraphrase. He just did a direct copy-paste and then denied it when shown the evidence.

Talk about putting your fingers in your ears and yelling LALALALALALA

I just topped off the comments there showing a side by side comparison of the 2 quotes and asking him to clarify with my newly found MikeB approach.

I didn't want to do it, but you left me no choice.

I certainly hope you're happy.

Cliffy,

That's a 'quote' Cliff. Not my own words.

Keep digging.

It's hard to figure out how to contact the Examiner behemoth, but somebody over there must be vetting their people. Why is this semi-literate fraud given a blog there?

Probably the same way Roland Burris became a Senator.

"Probably the same way Roland Burris became a Senator."

Now that's funny!

But in all seriousness, I think we are witnessing the Americans with Disabilities Act at work here.

How could you not love that mustache though?

I am absolutely amazed that Cliffy was able to successfully navigate to this site.

Wouldn't that require him to be able to spell the individual words contained in the title?

Or did you cut him some slack and give him a direct link?

Word of advice, Cliffy. Before you attempt any true engagement on this issue or any other, learn some grammer and basic spelling. Otherwise, the world shall see you as the ignorant smegma that you are.

I fully realize that you must now seek out the definition of "smegma" since your parents and school system was so faulty as to let you loose upon the world without a proper understanding of english.

Damn! I'm upset.
He has, and is abusing, my first name as his last name. How dare he!
