Hello Kids

I am so sorry for not posting sooner but I see Third came out of hiding to keep things moving.

Thank you Third.

Been a busy week, one trip to Houston on to Seattle, yes my company loves to waste money. A few days’ home and back to hell, aka New York. I will so be glad when this project is over. One thing about business travel when you run out of work you do not know what to do with yourself. Keeping up with the news is a good pass time.

Let’s see Global warming appears to be called off, Greenland is reporting extreme cold temperature a Balmy -25 C that’s -13 F for those in the US, And translation for the criminals in the state house in Trenton New Jersey, that's really cold so steal some more money from the tax payers to waste on entitlements to keep the brainless thieves in the state house. (They really don't need a reason to steal, but just in case.)

NASA has new pictures of the planet Mercury, They look a lot like the ones they had before. But they assure us these are better.

And the usual, whining Clinton blather, Things never change.

But I did find a piece written awhile back by “David Kopel” titled “Trust the People: The Case against Gun Control” http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=975

This short piece concludes with a question. Who is more trustworthy, the government or the people?

Well Boys and Girls this is a really simple question. All you need do is look at the government from the local to Washington. Let’s look at our illustrious leaders in Washington.

They include current Rep. Corrine Brown (D-Fla), whose trail of bad debts, lies to Congress and misstatements to the Internal Revenue Service have spawned a number of investigations

Rep. James Moran (D-VA) whose wife has charged him with abuse, who has assaulted other members of Congress on the floor of the House and is a former stockbroker whose judgment in trades is so bad he is, broke from poor investments.

Rep. Enid Greene Waldholtz (R-UT) who kited more than a million dollars in bad checks and ended up in prison.

Senator Ted (Swimmer) Kennedy has stiffed many creditors from past campaigns.

Some research found 117 current and recent members of the House and Senate who have run at least two businesses each that went bankrupt, often leaving business partners and creditors holding the bag.

Seventy-one of them have credit reports so bad they can't get an American Express card on their own (but as members of Congress, they get a government-issued Amex card without a credit check).

Fifty-three have personal and financial problems so serious they would be denied security clearances by the Department of Defense or the Department of Energy if they had to apply through normal channels (but, again, as members of Congress they get such clearances simply because they fooled enough people to get elected).

Twenty-nine members of current and recent Congresses have been accused of spousal abuse in either criminal or civil proceedings.

Twenty-seven have driving while intoxicated arrests on their driving records. Like Teddy “Hic” Kennedy but someone died because of this scum.

Twenty-one are current defendants in various lawsuits, ranging from bad debts, disputes with business partners or other civil matters.

Nineteen members of current and recent Congresses have been accused of writing bad checks, even after the scandal several years ago, which resulted in closure of the informal House bank that routinely allowed members to overdraw their accounts without penalty.

Fourteen have drug-related arrests in their background.

Eight were arrested for shoplifting

Seven for fraud.

Four for theft,

Three for assault and one for criminal trespass.

I seriously doubt I would hire these people to wash the windows.

The question; who is more trustworthy, the government or the people? The answer in simple….

Have a wonderful weekend folks.

Anyone wanting some “good” reading material might want to peruse these friend of the court briefs from all the familar antis.

Click on the first one (pediactrics one) and look at the title in table of contents, page #11. It states that handguns should be banned because children CAN NOT BE TAUGHT GUN SAFETY.

How did I ever survive my youth?
