Fake Teen Cop Fools Police, Patrols Chicago for 5 Hours
CHICAGO — A 14-year-old aspiring police officer donned a uniform, walked into a Chicago police station and managed to get an assignment — patroling a squad car for five hours before he was detected, police said Sunday.

OK, that's just sad. He just walked into a station wearing a uniform and nobody questioned who he was.

When you are as desperate as the Chicago PD for additional manpower.

You take what you can get...even if it's just a 14 yr old wannabe.

When you have a circus as grand as the Ringling Bros. Blago & Daley show, I am not surprised that other minutiae in the state gets overlooked.

I heard a rumor that the reason he was caught is that he refused to take a bribe from local drug dealers.

This apparently raised some eyebrows about his true identity.

And yes, I'm full of crap but it makes me giggle.

Sheesh! If they gave him a car did they hand him a pistol as well?
