Extreme Shooting Sports

Sebastian SIH laments that the US isn't #1 in all Olympic shooting events. Mostly due to dullness in his opinion. To remedy that, I introduce this new event to liven it up:

The 50 meter, Shaken Soda Can Plink

Inversely to diving, the more spray, the better the score. It also is judged higher w/ low caliber, non-HP/frangible rounds in unsupported positions.

Soda is #1 seller of host country w/ a maximum of 10 shakes.

The use of Mentos is banned.

Add more rules in comments.

You mean to tell me they already banned the Mentos HP...

You'd have to weight scores for velocity too, I'd imagine. I mean, I'm sure that a .220 Swift or a .22-250 could probably evoke some wicked spray.

And possibly also test the soda for C02 doping . . .

And the only way to beat a "perfect spray" score is to use low velocity ammo and just pop the tab.

In the event of a tie, there shall be a sudden death shoot-off, with the targets presented end on/horizontally rather than vertically.

Optional Child class (up to 10 years old) event shall be conducted with 2 Liter bottles.
