So Which 'Anniversary' Was It?:UPDATE

Last night (Oct 3rd) President Obama stated it was his anniversary of his marriage to Michelle Obama.

From 'BIography.com' for Michelle:

 After two years of dating, Barack proposed. "We were at a restaurant having dinner to celebrate the fact that he had finished the bar," Michelle remembers. "Then the waiter came over with the dessert and a tray. And there was the ring. And I was completely shocked." The couple married at Trinity United Church of Christ on October 18, 1992.

 Yet on Obama's Page:

On October 3, 1992, he and Michelle were married. They moved to Kenwood, on Chicago's South Side, and welcomed two daughters: Malia (born 1998) and Sasha (born 2001).

And they wonder where conspiracy theories get their start.

Marty Moylan Is An Idiot and Liar

There can be no other way to describe this candidate for IL State House Seat Dist. 55.  Why do I say this?  Because of the usual campaign literature*.

 

 He's going to try and ban '50 cal machine guns' in Illinois.

Wait.  They're already banned in this state.  What is he talking about then?  Oh right. He's talking about semi-auto firearms like the AR-15, not 'machine guns'. You know. 'Assault Weapons'.



Notice the traditional alternating use of 'Assault Rifles',  'Assault Weapons'  and 'machine guns'.  The usual anti-gunner dishonesty courtesy of Josh Sugarman of the VPC.

So Marty Moylan is a liar for putting this out (because only a complete ignoramus doesn't know the difference anymore) and an idiot for thinking such tired, rehashed tripe wouldn't get called out.

Yet people are still going to vote for this.

Brady's Scrubbing Bubbles On The Debate

To complement their desperation from last night's debate, a reader got some screencaps of the Brady's FB page desperately scrubbed and rewritten after someone made a pre-emptive post:

And after their bleating was ignored, it was quickly changed to this:

 This is a FUBAR in the first degree for a professional political organization and shows just how pathetic they've become. This is also the sound of all their hopes being dashed against the wall as they've proven conclusively they live in nothing resembling reality. 

The Desperation of Gun Control

As the Brady's begged and pleaded for any sort of recognition. Over and over and over again.

 

 

 I'm no Mittens fan but this was not only a bloodbath for Obama but for gun control advocates. I wonder how much wailing and gnashing of teeth is going on at all those 'parties' Colin Goddard arranged.  Or do they look like the after party of a failed candidate?

Well I guess that answers that question.  As ddbaxte said, their tears are sweet.

Nightmares and Interpretations

 It is certainly a nightmare for anti-gun advocates who claim that the firearm industry is 'dying', but how would they try and spin it?  If  paid anti-gun 'researcher' 'Dr.' Garen Wintemute were to analyze this photo, he would classify at least one sale being a 'straw purchase' because a woman is present.

Illinois Democrats: The Party of Gun Control

In an attempt to distract from their disastrous handling of the economy, Michael Madigan has coordinated efforts to attack IL GOP candidates on, you guessed it, guns. They're basically saying that an (R) vote is a vote for murder and mayhem across the state. You know, the kind that isn't happening now but is happening in that criminal safe haven of Chicago.

GSL says it best:

Anyone donating to the Democratic Party of Illinois or any Democratic candidate for office are contributing to a coordinated, anti-gun political campaign to smear gun owners and to continue to infringe upon our Constitutionally-protected rights. 

 So yes Virginia, they do want to ban your guns.  Any attempt to deny it is either outright ignorance or deception. Take your pic.

And Yet Another Insurrectionist' For CSGV To Ignore On Their Timeline

GOP candidate threatened at gun point in West Joliet 

 JOLIET, IL - A Republican candidate for State House was threatened at gun point Tuesday when he was knocking on doors in West Joliet...
 The man "took out a gun and cocked it back in front of my face and said 'Get the f--- out of this neighborhood before I blow your head off," Alm reported.

 And I'm sure this individual was legally in possession of this firearm, right?  I'm sure he has a FOID card and an IL CCW license (oh wait, noone has one of those).  I'm also sure who he's going to vote for come election day.

 We know it won't be added to the 'Insurrectionist Timeline' because the candidate is 'right wing'. No matter how much Ladd Everitt and the CSGV denounce 'political violence' from 'any side', none from the 'left' ever end up on their website. Telling, isn't it?  This is the kind of violence that their rhetoric is enabling.

CSM Plumley in Hospice: Update

Update: CSM Plumley passed away early morning Oct 10th, 2012.  All our wishes to his family for the loss of the great man and a great American.

Unsurprising since his wife passed a way a few months ago. Send your wishes for a real hero.
