So last weekend I upgraded my old Marlin 81 w/ a new scope. Then the weather turned to crap so I didn't get out to zero. This weekend was nicer so out to the range I went.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycles of 3 rnds ea.
No sniper I, that's about as good as I ever get. Then some fun shooting.
Followed up by some casual practice and speed drills w/ the Makarov.
Interestingly, behind the target is a steel tank. As I got farther away (about 30'), the 9mm Mak rounds didn't penetrate it and I found a number of them on the ground.
The boys helped refill .22 boxes.

I've always been pleased with my Mak. The rounds go where I aim them and the pistol fits mt hand well, as well as being concealable. YMMV.
