More Brady Campaign Fear Mongering/Lies on CCW

From a pro-gun leaning article on, ironically enough, Bloomberg.com:
Those Americans who have acquired handguns for protection are living with “serious delusions,” says Caroline Brewer, a spokeswoman for the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. She contends that few are trained rigorously enough to deploy their weapons in the shock and heat of an attack, that they’ll shoot innocent bystanders, that more times than not their firearms will be turned against them.
Right. They know they're FOS and that they are losing the cultural battle badly. Putting out inane crap like this is like when the Germans were 'Advancing to the rear' and 'tactically withdrawing" during WWII. Twenty years ago they may have gotten away w/ this, but not in an age when anyone can look up the facts for themselves and see that the Brady's are nowhere close. She continues:
“To suggest all these guns make the world safer is pure fantasy,” she says. “And the idea that Americans are comfortable with millions of guns being carried by millions of people -- I just don’t buy it. Most Americans aren’t aware how easily people can get guns, and all the places that they can take guns.”
Talk about living in a fantasy world. To her, I'm sure 'most people' are exclusive to the ever shrinking number of supporters like BC board members who believe you can buy live grenades and rocket launchers at gun shows.

IIRC Rocket Launchers are covered as "Destructive Devices" and can be purchased in accordance with NFA regulations. So I suppose you could buy a rocket launcher at any halfway decent gunshow. If you have the $5,000 - $10,000 and all the necessary Federal requirements met. Oh and assuming that your state does not have any laws regulating access to such items, like California.

Then there is the fact that you are over 10 times more likely to be accidentally shot by a cop than a civilian. OOPS
