Guns=Nat'l Health Issue

As has been reported, the NIH is trying to revive the meme that owning a firearm is a health hazard.

This is happening at the same time that Congress and the current administration is trying to ram through legislation that will penalize people for doing things considered 'unhealthy' including drinking soda.

Is it me or does this sound like a bad rendition of "Demolition Man"?

This is how Mass got its Handgun Approval Roster:
http://www.fsguns.com/fsg_information.html

It is NOT a gun control law, it is a CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW! They aren't restricting my actions to handguns, they are simply protecting me from handguns they deem "Unsafe".

A quick read of the page and you'll see how arbitrary the law is (In a referring page you'll note that Glocks were legal to sell here for about 3 months, and then were declared unsafe and recalled by the state)

Note that there is nothing in the law that says they need to approve ANY handguns, so tomorrow our Attorney General could make the sale of ALL NEW HANDGUNS illiegal by doing nothing more than issuing a press release.

This is their work-around for Heller and McDonald.

Sure, my guns are a health hazard. . . . to anyone I'm pointing them at.
