"Only Ones" Breaking and Entering Enough

CHICAGO — Four former members of a now-disbanded Chicago police unit have admitted they used to barge into people's homes and steal money.

Three of the four pleaded guilty Friday in Cook County court to felony theft and one pleaded guilty to felony official misconduct. All four were sentenced to six months in jail and promised to cooperate in an ongoing investigation.

Good thing the people of Chicago are under such good protection.

Wow, a whole six months? That ought to teach them a lesson.

The Chicago PD has some serious problems, and getting rid of rogue cops is one of them. You can get the view of an insider by reading some of their blogs, and Second City Cop is a good one. Poor morale, understaffing, poor leadership, and a City gov't that cares more about their bid for the Olympics than citizen safety are just a few of them.
