NPR Firearm debate

Brady Campaign president Paul Helmke will be joining other anti-rights advocates Prof. John Donohue of Yale University and Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske to argue one side of the issue, while Prof. Gary Kleck of Florida State University, attorney Stephen Halbrook, and John Lott of the University of Maryland will argue for the rights of citizens on NPR.

Prof. Donohue may well be a good debater, but Lott, Kleck, and Halbrook should be pretty tough--I sure as hell wouldn't expect them to have much trouble with Helmke and Kerlikowske.

I hope John Lott get's some sun, and combs his hair, and gets better fitting clothes. Based on his debate this past summer regarding CCW on Campus, his appearance was an embarrassment!

Touche'.

After seeing that on CSPAN, I just get fired up real easy about lack of concern with personal appearances by gun rights people.

I just hope the gun rights people can keep there cool, and get baited.

A transcript of the debate is available here. As to Anonymous' points, I think that he is nuts. His other points are even contradictory: "gun rights people can keep there cool, and get baited." Keeping one's cool and getting baited are the opposite things. As to personal appearances, it is nutsy.
