I'm swaying..

Not from a conversion to worshipping the Lightbringer, but instead from trying not to pass out from the stench of his speech.

As he once again says the people in the inner-city are unable to control themselves in comparison to "rural folk, he, as a former Joyce Foundation board member, shows that Josh Sugarmann was right.
The — the reality of gun ownership may be different for hunters in rural Ohio than they are for those plagued by gang violence in Cleveland, but don’t tell me we can’t uphold the Second Amendment while keeping AK-47s out of the hands of criminals.

But we all know he's not talking about Select Fire AK-47's as used by militaries and terrorists world-wide. He's talking about semi-auto clones like the WASR's or SAR's.

But what should we expect from a "Professor of Constitutional Law" who believes the Bill of Rights 'creates' rights.

I'm not so familiar with semi auto rifles and such, but aren't AK-47s already illegal?

Everybody knows that Constitutional Rights are based on geographical location.

I listened to his sermon last night and was surprised he even mentioned this nugget, but with Biden at his side, he's showing his cards.

Oh yeah, almost forgot.

When Obama says he wants to keep Ak-47's out of the hands of criminals, he means us.

Having someone call me a criminal doesn't exactly ingratiate them to me.

Stumped,

True AK's are select fire capable of full auto fire and, while not illegal in most states, are heavily regulated and taxed. Saw one at a show a while back and the price tage was $14,500 + $200 for the federal tax stamp for transferring a class 3 weapon.

Semi-auto "AK's" like the SAR-1 and WASR-10 are not capable of full auto fire and are legal in most states. Price tag of around $300.

The reason the media and politicians call SAR's AND SAWR's AK-47's is purely for shock value. Everybody knows what an AK is thanks to the Middle East and Hollywood. Only the gun nuts know the other designations for the semi auto versions.

Confusing people as to which are which is the whole point.
