 Cook County court records show that Hardiman has a 1999 conviction for misdemeanor domestic battery, a case in which an emergency order of protection was also issued against him. Details of the case were not available Friday.

So how, w/ a domestic violence conviction, did he get a FOID card and a Chicago Firearm Permit?

And of course it doesn't count as there was no use of a firearm. And since he is opponent of personal freedom it's OK for him to own guns if with a domestic violence charge.
