You know what's even funnier than being threatened w/ 'legal action' for exposing nitwits and fraudulent claims?  When the nitwits actually get a lawyer to respond not w/ a 'cease and desist' letter but more of a 'we don't like what you said but all we can do is send a letter' letter.

GSL gets a letter from 'Equip2Conceal' over their president's not so well thought out post in IllinoisCarry threatening legal action and GSL's laugh-fest over it.

To tell you the potential quality many are expecting, this about says it all:

Secondly, I’ve noticed Equip 2 Conceal is offering classes at hotels and frankly, E2C is on our radar again.  I sincerely hope E2C’s instructors are not teaching a 16-hour course that requires four hours of range work at a hotel in two 9a-5p days.  Nowhere in the Illinois FCCA law does it credit lunches or travel time in the course hours and the Illinois State Police are proving to be sticklers for detail.

Situational Awareness aka Common Sense

On Saturday, October 12, 2013, between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., a 32-year-old woman was traveling between Mattoon and Arcola when she stopped to pick up a hitchhiker. Because her front passenger seat was occupied with packages, the driver directed the hitchhiker into the rear seat. 

 Do I even need to say what happened next?  

After traveling a short time, the hitchhiker placed a rope around the driver’s neck and began strangling her. The hitchhiker ordered the driver to pull into an area near two grain bins. Upon arriving at the grain bins, the hitchhiker pulled the women in-between the grain bins and sexually assaulted her.

They don't say it but the description shows she was traveling North on HW 45, a long, lonely and rural road that is not heavily traveled. 

Now this woman didn't deserve what happened to her in any way but think a little bit people...

Pick up a hitchhiker on a near deserted road while you're by yourself and put him in a place that you can't see what he's doing. How many more mistakes could she have made to put herself into a dangerous situation?

The Obama Gun

No, not ones shipped during F&F but a so-called 'smart gun' that a German company is claiming will have on the market in the next two months.  The anti's are already having nocturnal emissions over it:

So an untested, unproven technology that the authorities are exempt from using is going to be mandated by the gov't. 

Hmm. Sounds familiar.

This is going to be lawsuit central as these things start failing left and right.

Then goes on to want to restricting the most popular firearms in the US plus a bunch of those other 'reasonable' solutions so beloved by anti-gun fanatics. All things he doesn't own of course:

Reasonable gun controls, such as limiting the cartridge capacities of assault rifles and tougher punishments for owners who let their guns fall into the wrong hands, should be a part of that. So should keeping guns out of our public parks, despite the fact that our legislature has allowed holders of concealed-carry permits to pack in parks.

Sorry skippy but you lost your 'creds' when you called an AR an 'assault rifle' and poisoned the well by assuming anyone who disagrees w/ you is 'unreasonable'.

You're just another Fudd in a long history of Fudd's that will support any gun restrictions as long as it doesn't effect you.

addendum:  And what does he mean ''if I could"? Is he restricted somehow from owning more firearms?  Wife won't let him?
