MSNBC: Beyond Stupid

Redundant I know but the mental capabilities of their guests are dropping down into levels that even occasionally surprise me.  Did you know that going into a building and killing 12 people w/ AK-47's is ethically similar to Jerry Falwell suing Hustler for libel (and losing)?

About 90,000 permits issued. 

"I think people were so concerned about it in the beginning, because there was a lot of media hype and speculation," said Urbana Police Chief Patrick Connolly. "But quite honestly, we have often said the people who are law-abiding and take the time to go to class and register and understand the concept, hopefully, are going to be smart enough to handle the firearm appropriately. So, I don't think this was something out of the ordinary."
Danville police Sgt. Josh Campbell agreed, saying "When you're talking concealed-carry, it's mostly your law-abiding citizens, who don't cause problems anyway."

So Josh Sugarmann's 'Concealed Carry Killer' list tastes like crow right about now. The constant screams of claims that permit holders will have shoot-outs over parking spaces and handing out licenses to gang bangers are as much BS as they were near 30 yrs ago when FL started the avalanche of states passing CCW laws. 

Not that this will stop the PuSH'ers from repeating it endlessly and grasping for any perceived wrongdoing committed by the fraction of a percent of the millions of permit holders across the nation.

Is Anyone Really Surprised?

Guy in NY goes to the hospital for severe insomnia.  Next thing he knows, his firearm permit is revoked and his guns confiscated w/ no due process except to sue. 

Yet I get called 'paranoid' and a 'conspiracy theorist' when I say that these things can and do happen. 

I get called a danger to society and an 'insurrectionist' for opposing firearm laws because I see how they will be abused by anti-gun fanatics.

Now assuming that the lawsuit is on the up-n-up, will anyone try and defend this decision by the authorities?

Anti-Gun Stallone To Promote Gun Violence

So one of the kings of mindlessly violent, shoot-em-up movies is making ANOTHER Rambo. 

Yet never seems to understand the hypocrisy of doing movies like this and then spouting about how 'guns-r-bad M'kay'.

There's another movie I won't waste my money on.
