Sen. Kirk a 'Moderate' on Gun Control?

He sits down w/ Chicago Mayor Rhambo Emmanual (another anti-gun fanatic) to 'discuss guns and trafficking'.

He was presented an award by the Joyce Foundation funded ICHV for his anti-gun activism. 

He's repeatedly filed bills attempting to ban semi-auto firearms because of Chicago gangs.

He did NOT sign an Amicus Brief supporting McDonald.

He's supported anti-gun advocates for federal positions and lied about the NSSF's position on said individuals.

He did NOT sign a letter opposing UN gun control.

He opposes Concealed Carry.

If he's a 'moderate', Then I'm a bomb throwing anarchist.

Elliot Fineman: Blood-dancing Master

So Elliot Fineman of the NG(V)AC is thankful for mass shootings so his personal agenda can be forwarded.  Nevermind the fact that both shooters passed background checks because both had slipped through the mental health system and that some of Elliot's endorsed politicians have voted for confiscation. 

This is the type of (im)morality inherent in gun control. 

Who?

Reading an article on another 'balanced panel' on guns and they had a member from the 'Central Illinois Coalition Against Gun Violence'.

I thought 'Who?'  Because as far as I've been able to find, there is no such organization.  No website, no twitter feed, no FB page, nothing.  Nothing but a single mention for this forum.

So iow, this is another fake 'grassroots' organization' w/ a big fancy name w/ probably the only 'member' being the person at the panel.    Just like Elliot Fineman of the Nat'l Gun Victims Action Coalition who claims he has 14 million members.

Now compare that to the 'Central Illinois' gun rights organization 'GunsSaveLive (GSL) formerly the Champaign County Rifle Assoc.  They've gotten big enough they have to have multiple meetings in several cities to accommodate members where hundreds turn out every month.

THAT is real grassroots.

More IL Amendment Nonsense

They're still throwing every piece of crap they can at the wall hoping something sticks. 

'Lost and Stolen' penalties, nonsense about prohibited person access, handgun registration are just the ones that passed into HB1155.

Other crap they've tried again are magazine bans w/ no grandfathering onto a bill that confiscates the guns that uses them.

Just for those that still believe (or try to say) that 'we're not after your guns', even w/ the amendment that allows outright bans and confiscations, the sponsor said this:

"After all the talk, there's nothing that's been said today that would incline me to change the wording," Zalewski said. "I will not pull this amendment."

There were 57 votes in support of this.

So again, they are after guns. There is no compromise, discussion or 'common-sense' to this.  Any disagreement on this makes one an idiot and/or a liar.  There are no other options.

Gun Control Activist: Fear of Just About Everything

A poster on the ICHV FB page contacted her state rep (Chicago Anti Gun Hack Steans) in a tizzy over Concealed Carry and how scared she is of it. (Note this line: "She said that the lawmakers are hearing from way more people who are pro-gun than us."  No sh!t sherlock).  So I clicked on her page just to see how anti-gun she is.  The answer is extremely.

 Anyone who knows me knows I not only hate guns, hunting and anything to do with the gun culture, but it disturbs and sickens me. I won't even watch movie previews that have people shooting guns.

Thinking about me target shooting 'disturbs and sickens' her.  I began thinking she was pretty disturbed already.  Then I read this:

 ..I do not want to encourage vigilantism among today's "common men." They scare me without guns!

This person lives in a world of constant fear and paranoia yet she still thinks she has the mental capacity to determine whether what I do is right or wrong.  Her and Elliot Fineman would get along famously.

This is the face of gun control. 

'Speculation It Was Gang Related'? Really?

Gang banger, while holding his 6m old baby daughter, gets shot by a guy who 'emerged from an alley' and was 'picked up by a waiting van'.  Mother had been shot while pregnant.  Baby gets hit 5 times and later dies.  Speculation it was gang related?  Really?

Not to be entirely callous, but what would anyone expect to be the end result for this little girl?  The parents brought her into their lifestyle of violence and criminal behavior. That's the Chicago way.  70% of victims of Chicago homicide have prior criminal records and 90% of the murders do.  While there may be much wailing and gnashing of teeth by the family, they obviously didn't care enough about her to change their lives in a way that would result in her having a chance of being successful in life or even growing up at all. Instead they chose the way of the thug.

But we all know what's going to happen and where the 'blame' is going to be laid. Rhambo and all his little Springfield sycophants are going to hold her up as to why everyone else in the state needs to be punished and restricted for the actions of the perpetual criminals in Chicago. 

These are the same people who would scream 'RACISM' and 'BIGOT' were one to suggest a background check and licensing system for couples before being allowed to procreate.  Yet which situation is more directly involved in the safety of children?

We'ld never see bills introduced (and endorsed by the ICHV) calling for confiscation, would we?

'Patriot' is a 4-Letter Word

The SPLC still apparently doesn't have the desire to add in any 'left wing extremist' groups to their reports and consider the word 'Patriot' to be racist and offensive.

See, it has nothing to do w/ him trashing the economy, causing taxes to skyrocket or his and his allies'  perpetual drive to ban/confiscate guns.  It's all because he's black.

Yeah. OK.

Now that I'm an officially designated insurrectionist, I wonder if I can get on their list.

The Numbers Don't Add Up

The NYT (notoriously anti-gun) 'analyzed' the GSS survey and concluded that gun ownership is dying and that the verifiable fact that training classes and license applications across the nation being packed are just figments of our imagination. Just last month in Illinois there were 60,000 FOID applications submitted.

None of the 'analysts' apparently even thought about the possibility that firearm owners refuse to answer surveys due to them being historically biased and paid for by anti-gun groups. I was called to be surveyed and declined the privilege.

Now let's take a look at a 'march' by the inaptly named 'One Million Moms For Gun Control' which I talked about here.
 
If you multiply the number of people present by the number of 'Chapters' they claim (75), they're short by about 999,500 people. Basically they have enough supporters to fill one GSL meeting.

So even w/ all the money being pumped into them by Obama, Bloomberg and the Joyce Foundation, the STILL have no real public support, only shell groups and bought off politicians.

A Conversation Starter

What's the best way to convince people you're not out to strip them of their rights and show you just want 'common-sense' gun control and reduce crime?  Why say that anyone who opposes your agenda is 'authoritarian', 'Hitler' and (funniest of all) 'intolerant':

They're not 'comparing them to Hitler' but they're comparing them to Hitler.  Duh.

I really like posts like this from the CSGV. It shows just how fanatical and out of touch w/ reality they and their supporters are.  Especially when they consider me to be one of the most dangerous people in the country.
