What Holds Pro-Rights Activism Back?

You know that person that does absolutely nothing to actively help out a cause but is one of the first ones in line to bitch about how things 'should' be done?

I'm guessing these are two of them:

So we're not talking work or family conflict but a f*cking football game that they could record. That's how much their firearm rights 'really' mean to them.  This is how much effort they put into trying to get CCW for Illinois.  To spend enough time online to bitch about 'when' the meeting was scheduled and to show their priorities.

I fully expect when the next big push in the legislator comes about, these will be two of the loudest voices griping about how the ISRA isn't doing enough or is giving them enough information. I'll be the first to slap this right back in their faces.

We are our own worst enemies.

Brady Libel?

Brady fundraiser President Daniel Gross puts out the usual bit about the UK being so much safer than the US because of gun control w/o showing any stats before all the laws were passed.  You know. Usual fair an organization that has nothing new to work w/. 

This, however, is an interesting claim:

"In fact, in recent years Congress has given special legal protections to gun companies who supply criminals."

 Really Daniel?  And where is your evidence of this one?  I've heard similar claims awhile ago from Lori Oniell and NGVAC from the ancient dismissed NAACP lawsuit. All evidence so conveniently sealed to the public.

IOW, Gross can in no way support his claim and I'm sure he knows it. The only reason is to make inflammatory statements in order to try and stir up their dwindling base and get some donations.

591 Firearm Dealers Were Idiots

They answered a loaded 'survey' sent out by a long time anti-gun, Joyce funded 'researcher', Garen Wintemute.

 The results, being pre-determined, were exactly what was expected. Guns'r bad m'kay?

So when the 591 morons that responded start seeing pushes for laws that are detrimental to their businesses based off of their answers to this survey, they'ld better not come crying to us because they did it to themselves.

Update:  A copy of the study is available here. As was noted, well over 90% of respondents (of which it took 3 mailings to get their 'similar' number) stated that Firearm ownership was critical.  Most also engage in the business because they are firearm enthusiasts and shooters themselves. They also have a strong concern they they'll be run out of business due to to many firearm laws.  Laws which this study will be used as support for.

I agree w/ Sebastian TBFKASIH.  This was reaching for straws for Wintemute.  Take a look at the several pages bitching about the NSSF/NRA and his attempts to still claim victory.

So does the school system provide clubs strictly for white students?
“I’m not aware of that in Portland,” he said.

The levels of brainwashed idiocy present in these so called 'educators' is astounding to one even as jaded as me.

Chicago Tax Dollars at Work

While the city spends millions to keep the lawful citizens disarmed, they drop a million dollars to 'Ceasefire Chicago'.  The results?  Numerous arrests of CC 'mediators' for drug dealing and other crimes and the ironic use of Ceasefire stickers to create gang logos.

Why are MAIG Mayors So Corrupt?

Another MAIG mayor, this time the one for Trenton, NJ, has been arrested for corruption.

I've completely lost track of how many of these supposed 'anti-crime', 'common-sense' mayors have been arrested and convicted of crimes ranging from assault to corruption.  I do know the rate is MUCH higher than for legal firearm owners and CCW holders nationwide.

How dare they try to impose their inane, nonsensical laws on us while at the same time violating the very laws they have sworn to uphold.

But Gov. Quinn, Mayor Emanual, and Rev. Jackson, along w/ all the Joyce funded anti-gun groups blame the million + firearm owners in the state for their own blatant incompetence and to distract from the disaster that is the economy in this state.
