The belt I had was W. German so I found a deal on a bunch of them and I needed a bread bag.
One interesting thing about this stuff is for years, both E & W Germany used almost identical field gear to what the Wehrmacht used during WWII, in some instances just filing off/painting over the swastikas and reissuing it. I have some binoculars they did this to.
This E. German bread bag is the exact same except for color (light gray instead of field gray/tanish) and the belt is similar to a late war Wehrmacht web belt except again for the color and the logo on the buckle.
A spokesman for the Pima County sheriff says that at least 12 people were shot. The Tucson Citizen reports that Rep. Giffords was "shot point blank in the head.""
Lots of related links here.
Prepare for the onslaught.
Update: And the Brady Campaign POS's waste no time in dancing in the blood of the dead.
And the truth hurts. My comment reminding people the BC asked for a donation of $32 just hours after VT got axed.
Update: And the VPC joins their voice in calling for gun bans.
They are truly pieces of garbage.
kids will actually be allowed to carry guns on campusYep. No mention of the fact that CCW is licensed to 21 year olds and over.
And when I asked her the very simple and polite question : Do you classify 21+ year olds as 'children'?
The comment went down the memory hole.
Because she knows that if she answers it honestly she would then have to fess up to the fact she is trying to deliberately mischaracterize the issue and convince people the evil NRA is wanting to hand out guns to grade-schoolers. Her presented defense is anecdotes that something 'might' go wrong.
I'm not really surprised. It's fairly standard for gun control advocates to want to 'discuss' things and 'compromise', then get all butt hurt and play the wounded maiden routine when they get called on their fabrications, outright nonsense and unwillingness to do anything but push for more restrictions. When the wounded maiden routine gets old, they start in w/ the insults, ad hominems and character attacks in the same vein as their only supporting commentors. As Uncle puts it "Why won't you cousin humping rednecks just let us ban your guns already".

SPRINGFIELD — Gov. Quinn and the Democratic legislative leaders have struck an agreement to raise the income tax on individuals from 3 percent to 5 ¼-percent
Oh but it's 'temporary' and 'for the children'. When has a tax increase EVER been temporary? Why does the legislature historically pull an equal amount from education whenever they add a new funding source?
Oh, right, because they're incompetent twits who's only mission in life is to get re-elected and give jobs to their cronies.
So for people who voted for Quinn et al., when the state economy continues to collapse while all that money is being taken out of your checks and not a DIME gets added to the schools...
Guess what? You did it.

Now why did I put that nickname for him in quotes? Because the internet never forgets. While he repeats his claim that the majority justices were ignorant and politically biased, we'll keep reminding the world that he misquoted the 2A while standing on the steps of the appellate court. Then later tried to scrub said truncation.
This is the stage their anti-rights lobby is at. Living in the past and trying to rewrite history.

The Coalition to Stop Gun
They really are in a catch-22. They can't support their agenda using the truth and when they get caught lying, we call them out on it, making them look like even bigger tools.
Guy buys land in rural NC to raise his family and shoot guns. Later, developers build really expensive houses nearby and sell them to yuppies . Yuppies then proceed to try and stop guy from shooting because it's scary and loud.
Screw these people. They probably bought the houses w/o even visiting the area and are now trying to turn it into the same type of craphole they left.

He got into all this because his son was killed due to an underage, known gangbanger who got the gun from another underage gang-banger etc. The gun was traced back to a straw purchaser. Now instead of working w/ the BATFE and authorities to get this straw purchaser and/or the dealer convicted on multiple charges and/or toughen the laws against them, they decided to sue, in civil court, anyone and everyone even remotely associated w/ the gun, from manufacturer to distributors to dealer. When the Illinois Supreme Court (not known for being gun friendly) threw out the suit, he threw a hissy fit:
And still the Illinois Supreme Court says we didn't present any ''evidence of wrongdoing''? What do they need? A signed confession from the entire industry?
Then he went into teaching. At NorthWestern University, he taught a class called “The Politics Of Guns and the 2nd Amendment” and worked for the ICPGV (now merged w/ the ICHV). I'm sure this was a completely non-biased course dedicated to teaching students both sides of the issue, right? Especially when he makes statements like this:
the vast majority of modern American gun law is the work of the NRA. Compare their results to the rest of the world and you'd have to say their work is a failure.and:
Foreign governments keep guns off their streets. They don't allow gun industry lobbyists to write their firearms laws.and
I also learned during the Bell Campaign that when the NRA is attacking you, and they came after us constantly, you’re doing something right. Now, having watched the gun ban lobby achieve failure after failure over the last few years, he's hoping to build a time machine and 'unify' the 'grassroots movement'.
Hate to tell you Stephen (no, that's not true) there is no 'grassroots' for gun control anymore. Your own article says why:
This was during the late 1990’s, when gun violence was one of the top two or three issues covered in the media. So when the media went away, so did your 'grassroots' support. Your groups survive not by activism/donations from your membership, but by grants from politically motivated foundations like the Joyces. When that money dries up, so do you. Just ask the 'Gun Guys'.
