Joyce Foundation Puppets Hate the NRA, Love the UN

The VPC (funded by the Joyce Foundation) and CSGV (funded by the Joyce Foundation) are giddy over an NRA recruiting phone call being reported by Media Matters (funded by the Joyce Foundation).

The Joyces are decrying the rhetoric used over the coming UN Arms Trade Treaty. Media Matters relies on an Oxfam rep. to dispute the claims. Oxfam BTW is a member of IANSA which seeks to restrict everything but single shot .22's and shotguns to civilian ownership.

Kind of reminds me of another marketing e-mail just sent out by the Brady Campaign.

But all I have to say about trusting the UN w/ civilian firearm ownership is this. A picture is worth a thousand words.

This is the sculpture that's outside the UN building. Do YOU think we should trust them to be 'responsible' w/ a firearms treaty?

Why the @CSGV Wants Restrictions

Because they can't control themselves and project those feelings onto others.

In a discussion on Twitter w/ one of their more 'moderate' supporters, one who believes that 'gun control' is about keeping guns out of the hands of criminals, regarding the CSGV's double standards to silly political rhetoric, I began to show that the CSGV wasn't interested in 'crime control' but are really just the gun banning fanatics we all know them to be.

Well Ladd (AKA GritsJr) couldn't let the truth come out so he responded w/ his usual attempts at intimidation and character attacks in order to change the subject.

And as usual, when asked to provide any evidence whatsoever of his allegations, he scurried back into his hole.

This is the leadership of gun control in action.

Brady Campaign PSH over CCW Normalization

The Brady Bunch is in hysterics over Gov. Perry's presidential campaign.

Only an egotistical extremist would carry a loaded weapon into a crowd — encouraging others to do so.

That they've gone on the attack this early shows they're really concerned. That they've resorted to character attacks this sophomoric shows how far they've fallen in anything resembling relevancy.

Mexican Unpossibles

We keep being told that Mexico is getting almost all of its guns from US gun shops/shows.

In April, a DEA undercover operative was shown a hand grenade by one of the Iraqis and was told additional grenades were available from a Mexican military source.

Officials believe the weapons and explosives were meant to be sold locally, and there were no indications the group was supplying Mexico's most violent cartel with weapons for use in that country's drug war, which has claimed at least 35,000 lives.

Now we know that when a reporter says 'Assault Rifles', they could mean anything from a semi-auto handgun to a Chevette. If they're getting guns from Mexican military and NOT planning on shipping them back, they 'could be' the real thing.

And how long has this been going on?

Officials were tipped off after neighbors and even some of the club members' spouses complained for years about the establishment's criminal activity, which has included attempted murder, sales of meth and marijuana, gambling and illegal firearms sales.

Let's keep those borders nice and open. It won't cause any problems. And obviously the best response to this is to make even MORE gun control laws in California. That'll stop them.

It's always heartwarming to read the PSH from Anti's over the normalization of Open Carry (and firearms in general) in society.

Shave the Whales!!

I admit I have a little green in me. I drive a Prius, use CFL's, practice the three R's, rechargeable batteries, etc. Mostly to save some money and not in any 'real' desire to stop bathing and hug trees.

Since we do use lots of re-chargeables of various sizes, I picked up a universal charger. The other day I was digging through my den closet and came across some solar panels I had bought at a Radio Shack clearance sale awhile ago.

I looked at the panels.

Looked at the charger.

Looked at the panels.

Looked at the window w/ the sun shining through.

And the lightbulb came on.

Not as fast as the plug in but a trickle charge is better and it will save a few more pennies each month. And when the Zombie Apocalypse comes and the power grid fails, I'll still be able to use my flashlights.

Fear, not Facts, Drives the Anti-Gun Agenda

The PEG-Heads and Brady-bots are squeaking about an editorial claiming that Open Carry is causing Murder and Mayhem in Maine.


Except the Authorized Journalists can't actually point to any actual problems being caused outside their own PSH. Only what they choose to believe 'might' happen w/ the same tired meme's we've heard from the beginning:

When that person walks through the door, how can customers tell if the person bearing the weapon is a potential rescuer or killer?

Well, if he walks in the door and starts shooting people, he's a killer and a 'No Guns Allowed' sign won't stop him no matter how many unicorn farts you release. If he grabs a cart and heads toward the dairy aisle, you can unpucker.

There, wasn't that simple?
