That 'War on Women' Meme Again

So 'Mother Jones' puts up an article claiming that 'extremist' firearm owners are a bunch of misogynistic knuckle-draggers who hate women and any civilized society.  Mostly claims of assaults that have no evidence besides innuendo, false attacks, and projection. One of the funnier bits are the claims that 'extremists' are posting names and addresses of (only the) women who are calling police on Open Carry protests.  The rub is it's only their claim we have to go on and the FACT that MDA supporters were openly advocating 'SWAT-ting' carry activists.

Last night, MDA-IL posted a link to this article on the ISRA FB page.  Several comments were made regarding actual and documented threats made by MDA members along w/ noting that MDA-IL was allowed to comment there whereas any opposition was deleted and banned on MDA pages.  Shortly after, they deleted their comment from the page. 

The NRA AM had between 15,000 and 20,000 women show up, many w/ children in tow.  Shannon Watts had to pay for about 100 people for her demonstration, and this in her own hometown. 

Why?

A May 7th solicitation by the U.S. Department of Agriculture seeks "the commercial acquisition of submachine guns [in] .40 Cal. S&W."

Have the corn fields been 'stalking' people?  Have turnip fields taken a 'beet-ing'. Lettuce end these types of acquisitions now.  There is no need for this Dept. to have submachineguns.

Wait, I Thought This Wasn't Illegal

If you've ever heard the PuSH'er meme about the 'Iron Pipeline', they make it sound like there are no laws governing the transport of firearms across state lines. There are, they just aren't being enforced.  Here's one of the cases where they are:

Last September a federal jury convicted Lewisbey, of South Holland, of buying hundreds of high-powered firearms at gun shows in Indiana and illegally transporting them to Chicago to sell them without a license.

So while he didn't have a criminal record, he wasn't a 'good boy'.  He knowingly sold to gangbangers on the streets, breaking countless federal, state, and local laws.  No 'background checks' would have stopped him. He didn't care about 'loopholes' or anything else.  He found a way to skirt the law and took advantage of it.

The guy who thinks that gun owners walk around w/ AR-15's stuffed down their pants and sends cops to people's homes for disagreeing w/ him threw more of his BS against the wall hoping it sticks.

As IL-Gunlobby stated.  Think SAFE/CT type bills and that's what Danny-boy thinks he'll get away w/.  Banning of the majority of rifles.  Registration. Etc.  The same nonsense they demand to put more restrictions on those who follow the laws.  Not like criminals wouldn't break into a cargo container headed out of state to arm themselves.

Why Are Famous Gun Control Activists So Violent?

I always love when 'stars' play the "Don't you know who I am?"  card when caught breaking the law.  This time it was Alec Baldwin, anti-gun activist and all around stable individual.

New York (CNN) -- Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Tuesday and issued two summonses -- one for disorderly conduct -- after riding a bicycle the wrong way on a New York street, police said.

The "30 Rock" star allegedly became angry and started yelling at police after they asked him for identification to give him a summons, police said. The other summons was for riding a bike against the flow of traffic. Baldwin is to appear in court July 24.

 Once in custody, Baldwin was taken to a nearby precinct, where he reportedly asked the desk supervisor: "How old are these officers, that they don't know who I am?" according to a law enforcement official.

Admittedly paparazzi are trash but take a look at the expression Alec has on his face.  No wonder he's anti-gun (for those lowly proles at least), he knows what he would do w/ one.

But here's the part that gave me giggles:

"New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign."

You mean like owning a gun Alec?  You mean that 'carnival of stupidity' run and operated by the same authorities you want to give MORE authority to in relation to your flash-in-the-pan crusade?   But only when those 'criminalized behaviors' inconvenience you is what you really mean.

Illinois hasn't put out a Uniform Crime Report in years after being in non-compliance w/ FBI standards and Chicago's numbers have proven to be suspect.

This is the criminal headquarters of Chi-town in action. 

Rep. John Conyers Is Going Away

Seems after all these years of being an anti-gun legislator, he forgot that the rules for running for office still apply.

Authorities say Conyers was 400 signatures short of having enough to qualify to run for re-election. Many of the signatures were thrown out because some of his signature-gatherers were not registered to vote in Michigan as required by law.

Guess all the corpses in Detroit will have to find someone else to vote for this season.

Media Creating More Victims

Started reading an article on an unsuccessful home invasion, iow the homeowner ventilated the goblin, and was thinking it would make a nice post. 

Then I kept reading. 

Throughout the one page article, they not only give out the victim's full address, but also how to find it, a description on how isolated the property is, a picture of the house, a google map, AND the fact that the house is empty while the victim is staying at a relative's house.  All that's missing are floor plans and his SS#.

I won't be linking to the story. And the idiots who published this should be held accountable for anything further that happens to the house.
