Former Cop Convicted Of Sexual Abuse While On Duty
An east-central Illinois jury convicted a former part-time police officer Wednesday night of sexually assaulting a woman after he pulled her car over in March 2006.
David L. Lewis still faces six more trials on 41 similar charges involving six other women while he served as an officer in Belgium, 30 miles east of Champaign.
