Hillary says encouraging voting is bad..

at least when the voters don't support her.

The city of Gary, IN is under attack by the Clinton campaign for following its tradition (the last 3 years or so) of busing eligible students to local polling places on election day. Never mind that this encourages youth to be socially responsible and teaches involvement in the election process, Hillary's people , including the Mayor of Hammond, IN, are afraid the demographics will favor Obama, so they oppose it.

"To me it seems like an orchestrated effort on behalf of the Obama campaign to take kids who should be in school learning to read and write, instead giving them a day off and telling them to vote for Obama."

This is how your elected officials view the voting public.

If high school students old enough to vote haven't yet learned to read or write, the school has bigger problems than the occasional day away from the desks for a civics lesson.
