Universal Background Checks Endanger Public Safety

Well not really because we know that 'gun buybacks' are nothing but feel-good measures that don't decrease crime at all.  But this is still funny:

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Organizers have canceled a gun buyback at the request of Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle, who says Colorado's new gun laws would make it nearly impossible to comply.
Pelle says a strict law that went into effect July 1 requires buyers to go to a licensed firearms dealer and undergo a background check.
So to accept the firearms, traditionally junk or from little old ladies who are trying to get rid of their dead husband's collection, they would have to run a 4473 on each and every one, paying the state $10 and the dealer $10.  Something they can't afford to do.

That's karma biting you in the @ss right there.
