It's 95% Now?

In the usual speils about how 'Fast and Furious' means we should give the BATFE MORE authority, the Utah AG and former AG make up some statistics:
About 95 percent of weapons recovered from murders in Mexico were traced to the U.S.
95%?! Really? How do they make these numbers up?

His whole position is odd in that Shurtleff signed an Amicus Brief in Heller and opened up a lawsuit against the BATFE regarding instate firearm manufacturing.

The first thing I notice is that the byline has 2 names and the second is Terry Goddard. I really hope Shurtleff didn't make those statements since currently, I really like the guy.

Whatever number they cite, every REAL serial number we get will either trace to the Mexican Military (who gets their guns from the US) or from guns bought by the FBI for criminals to "walk" under the watch of the BATFE.
