Looters Will Be Shot On Sight

I always love days that cement my faith in humanity.

So, doing the DOOTwear thing at the local mall fleamarket this weekend.  Things are slow but picking up.  Then a bunch of lights go out. A while later a bunch of sirens get closer as the local FD comes to check it out.  Turns out a transformer blew hard starting a small fire.  So maintenance guy does what he's supposed to do and pulls the fire alarm to clear the mall. As I'm gathering the essentials, a group of girls walk out of the RadioShack and I overhear one of them say "WooHoo, time to rack up at Rue21".

Think about that.  This POS's first instinct during a potential emergency/crisis was to go looting. And she's going to vote and breed.

Seriously, THIS has got to be the stupidest attempt at defending a screw-up since Will Smith in MIB:

Phoenix Air said the transfer was routine, insisting the coordinator kept proper distance from the patient and that “compression” from the telephoto lens made have made it look closer.

So 'proper distance' from an Ebola victim is w/in 6'? 

We're screwed.

Journey Quest Season 3 Startup.

The folks at Zombie Orpheus Entertainment are working on gauging interest for Season 3 of JourneyQuest.

What they need are at least 4200 people to 'pre-pledge', iow show they'll likely pledge on a KS so they can get this started.  This series totally rocks (along w/ most other things put out by these guys) so I will definitely be a backer of this.  Any other gamers who read DOOT should also help out.

Chicago Cultural Festival at Uof I:Champaign-Urbana

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WLS) --

The ABC7 I-Team is reporting a rash of random attacks near the University of Illinois flagship campus. A safety alert for students was posted after Champaign police say five students were jumped and beaten by a roving gang over the weekend.

I discussed this a week or so ago but this bit was buried inside an article on ABC:

While police here have posted an alert for last weekend's attacks, crime records reveal there were at least three similar unprovoked muggings the previous Saturday - among 45 assaults in the area since October 1.

The C-U police specifically say it resembles a 'big city gang initiation'.

More of that 'Chicago Culture' spreading throughout the state.

A troll who has a problem w/ kids using firearms while heavily monitored and supervised drops some foul language on the ISRA FB page, causing his posts to be removed.  Instead of rewriting them sans 'F*bomb', he responded w/ this eloquent missive:

 Isn't that just special?  No wonder he's anti-gun if he's this unstable but that's nothing. Take a look at some of his 'cover photos':
 





Yeah. That;s 'LOL". Just think of the mental disconnect it must take to attack firearm owners for 'Arming Toddlers" while posting pictures like this as your public face.  And they wonder why we want to be armed. Maybe he'll get hired to be a spokesman for the "Protect All Women" campaign.

Protecting "Some" Women

Giffords/Kelly only want solutions that disarm women and make them dependent upon the system for their protection. Anything that actually empowers women?  Not welcome.

The tour is called “Protecting All Women” yet when women who aren’t far left wing gun grabbers attempted to sit in on the meeting, they were asked to leave. Not only was the whereabouts of the meeting not announced until this morning but when the location was discovered and women who are for 2nd Amendment rights wanted to simply listen in on the conversation, they were kicked out of the meeting.

So the kicked women out of a 'Protecting ALL Women' meeting. 

Does anything more to be said about their motivations?

Everything That Needs To Be Said About The Illinois Elections

Obama's second trip this month. Michelle stopping by. Both Clintons and Biden? Quinn must be running behind or Rauner is surging in the polls. It would be highly embarrassing to have a Republican elected in Obama's home state, but this desperation really makes us wonder what the pollsters and media have been hiding.
Quinn looked horrible in the debates. He has to import out-of-state shooting victims to push his anti-gun platform. Durbin hasn't been hammered nearly enough for comparing US troops to nazis. Obama is an anchor on every national and state race. And you've got Quinn trolls all over state worker websites (and our comment section) trying to use scare tactics to push the vote. Things must be grim.

So the MSM is showing video footage of an Ebola patient being loaded onto a plane.  Here's a screenshot:

Now this isn't from some 'Tea Party', Right Wing, Anti-Obama, racist news source (sarcasm intended), this is from NBC.

From some of the stories I'm hearing about the decom units, the outright incompetence is amazing. Things like them taking off their gloves and then removing their suits w/ their bare hands. 

So what is the story behind this?  Are there no rules for plainclothes people coming into contact w/ contaminated suits?  Or is this guy just a freaking moron and broke a bunch of procedures?
