Roy, look at the photos of groups of gun fans and then look at the groups who rode their bikes to Washington, or the parents of victims and survivors of gun violence events. 'Your group" is full of morbidly obese, chain smoking, lower economic, disenfranchised people who just look plain miserable. Gun lobbying is giving them a target for the anger and despair in their govt. I get it. The groups of people marching for gun responsibility have balanced lives, they don't smoke, they look like they get fresh air, they have support from friends and family and they are smiling. Even though their children and neighbors were murdered, they hug and are kind, and they are less angry and bitter in public forums than "your" group. That is why we will prevail and you'll need to find a different hobby. And when I poke her w/ a stick some more:
There is no hate in these observations, only compassion.Gun control is a mental disorder.
Update: And after trying to blame us for being 'bullies' again, she runs away.

Interesting, that describes all the gun owners I know.
Mmmmm Chicago's youths seem to be in a regular habit of shooting at each other
I got your back, buddy!

And you'll also notice that the first set outnumbers the second by at least two orders of magnitude.
Not that numbers or aesthetics make a side right, of course - though we also win on the moral side.
Facebook is an alien world.

I'm roughly fifteen pounds over ideal weight for my height, but I have dropped a full 20 lbs. in just the last six months. So, I'm certainly not obese and am certainly trending positive.
I've smoked exactly three cigarettes, four cigars, and three pipes in my 32+ years. Half of those were tobacco. And not a one since I was in my 20's. So, no chain smoking.
Lower economic. Okay, got me there. I was a stay-at-home-dad for four years who then got divorced. In this economy, I'm lucky to have ANY job, even if it is far below what my level of education should reflect. Being out of the labor pool for years is tough.
Disenfranchised? Bitch, I've missed exactly one election since I turned 18. Because I was in jail (all charges dropped, btw) and didn't get released from arraignment and back to my precinct until after the polls closed. I have literally voted for dog catcher, emergency library board replacement elections, and every other 12-voters-tops election that has happened. I'm not disenfranchised, I'm uberfranchised.
Miserable? Dude, I'm not the one trolling the Facebook pages of people who's political views make me feel icky.
I quit smoking, does that mean I have to sell my guns?
I can't help but notice that the gun-grabbers and other totalitarians are as fixated on body image and "perfection" as the Nazis were.
Rob, you really shouldn't use the past tense when comparing those advocating socialism on a national level with the Nazis. National Socialism is alive and well, they've just traded in the jackboots and brown shirts for Birkenstocks and SEIU pull-overs.
