Shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, two armed suspects forced their way into a home on Winona Road in the northern suburb and fired shots. The suspects then tied up the victims and robbed them of jewelry and other valuables before fleeing, police said in a press release today. So it was only luck that none of the victims were hurt. Plus the fact that they didn't have a chance to defend themselves nor were they able to call police. Good thing they were disarmed.

Gun Free Paradise
Highland Park, IL is a gun banners paradise. Restrictive laws, registration, and a State Rep who hates the 1st & 2nd Amendment. So incidents like this shouldn't happen, right?

"So it was only luck that none of the victims were hurt."
But it wasn't just luck that the perps were uninjured. The law makes sure that criminals have little to fear from their victims.

A Thompson SMG would be nearly ideal break in repellent. Sure, it's heavy, but you don't have to carry it at home. It has a rainbow trajectory, but that's not an issue in the home. It's effectiveness? They didn't call it "the chopper" for nothing. It works. That's why you can't have one. Why is that?
Hasn't HP been sued by the NRA and SAF on the basis of Heller and McDonald? A right that requires licensing is no longer a right, but a privilege allowed at the whim of the "Only Ones."
