Well, at least he had the spine to admit he was wrong, and furthermore admit that his past error was entirely a flight of fancy.
That alone puts him light years ahead of most "gun control" supporters...
Not meaning to rain on the parade, but some of these states that issue concealed carry permits disqualify so many broadly, generally defined classes of people that it would appear very few would even qualify.
Is such a permit system more just than one that completely bans concealed carry? Permits issued at the sole discretion of local law enforcement are another example. Such states appear to give citizens their rights but in reality they deny them all the same. It is little more than a hoax.
