Now realize just how stupid this is. As was noted. Any shotgun can be 'converted' w/ a hacksaw. They allow 10/22's to be registered and those are even easier to 'convert' to an 'assault weapon' than a SKS but is missing the 'scary' factor of the name making the officers mess themselves over the mere presence.
