Modern American 'Leadership'

It seems we're entering another era of 'Boss Tweeds'. Well known are former Chicago Mayor Daley and NYC Mayor Bloomberg controlling the city councils and changing laws to support themselves.

Two more examples:

Rep Moran (D-VA) smears firearm owners for opposing more gov't control while at the same time he refuses to help fund efforts to reduce criminal activity.

TN mayor uses police and firefighters to threaten/intimidate citizens at a town hall meeting.
