PEG Heads Shooting Themselves in the Foot

Is it really a good idea to promote your cause by highlighting a 'protest' where the attendees of the event outnumber your protesters 1000:1 ? Protest Easy Guns thinks so.

Maybe they recognize the futility a little though:

1,000:1? You're feeling very generous today, aren't you? :)

That would mean there were 71.128 protesters - and we know that's not the case.

I was just going off of the "Celebration of American Values" attendees.

We could keep the 1000:1 if we went by total attendees of the convention and PEG's total membership though. :)

I went behind the protesters and took a picture to show all the NRA members gawking at them.

It was over 100 NRA members gawking at 14 protesters (and a few polite discussions), and tens of thousands simply ignoring them...or not noticing them at all.

"That's a nice protest you have there!"

"Oh, no... that's the counter-protest."

"So where's the protest?"

"Over there, that little group with the signs."

"Oh."
