Police Say 9-Year-Old Boy In On Armed Robbery

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Evanston police are looking for four juveniles, one believed to be as young as 9 years old, who robbed a 41-year-old woman at gunpoint in the northern suburb Monday night.The woman was in the 1800 block of Ashland at 9:09 p.m. Monday when she was approached by a suspect who spoke to her incoherently and then pulled out a gun, according to a report from Evanston police.The subjects stole the woman’s grocery bag and a canvas bag containing personal items, then fled on foot, the report said.All four subjects are described as black males with dark complexions. Police said the armed robbers range in age from 9 to 17.

Now I'm going to take a stab in the dark here and say that the gun used was taken from one of their parents' homes, was illegal in the first place, and that none of them had FOID cards.
