Puerto Rico is an island nation w/ very strict gun control laws. Licensing, registration, defacto waiting periods, ammo restrictions, training/gun club requirements, etc. All the things that the gun controllers here want.
It is also has a homicide rate 4 times higher than the US natl. Avg.
PEG-Heads really need to think a little before they tweet something if they're trying to make a point.

Well, there is that recent court ruling that may make Puerto Rico a "shall-issue" jurisdiction once the appeals are done.

If that happens it'll be interesting to see what happens to the violent crime rate. Even if it merely stays stable and doesn't go up it's a win for our position.
