So I was actually entertained by the World War Z movie.
Some decent action, edge of the seat scenes, funny bits, no 'gore-fest' and figuring out the plot devices made for an enjoyable 2 hrs.
Let the flames begin.

I am reading the book now - and they are completely different in many ways.
But - really - that's a good thing.
If they were SLIGHTLY different, and got small, but vital parts "wrong", it would be annoying.
Since they are both great zombie stories, and they are so different, each is enjoyable in its' own right.
World War Z the movie was a pretty decent flick. I liked it. Actually it was and will be one of the better zombie movies - and I'll probably say that in 10 years.
The book is intense and a real grabber. It's very believable and the brutality of survival is scary and believable at the same time.
Like "Starship Troopers" before it; you wanna make your action movie, fine. Leave the title of the book out of it if you don't plan on using more than the character names.

Just my 2 cents.
