Stupid Quote of the Day

You really have to love how ignorant anti-gun activists are.

On the Manchester, IL shooting I mentioned here

IL doesn't have CCW, the only state remaining w/o it, and it was inside a residence so there WERE no 'good guys w/ guns' around you stupid b!tch, only the one bad guy against disarmed victims.

And the single 'Like'?  Why the CSGV of course. The same organization that wished the Boston bombers would have used guns.

This is the mentality of our enemy. They have no clue what's going on around them nor do they care.

Actually im pretty sure this happened in a government home ran by the housing authority. Even if we would have ccw, it is against housing authority regulations to have a gun on the federal property. Amazing that another shooting happened in a gun free zone!!!

It was subsidized housing but I haven't been able to confirm w/ certainty that it was a 'gun free zone' (although it is likely) which is why I didn't mention it.

If you go to www.hud.gov and type in firearms in the search bar you will find the lease terms. That states its a gun free housing. its in sect 9 p. Which brings me to further question that when we do get ccw will these areas still be gun free? i would assume that alot of these types of housing are in Chicago. I know that if i lived in that type of housing, i would want to be able to protect myself and my family not only in Chicago but in any city or village.

HUD lost a case in NC last year (2011?) They cannot ban possession by owners in their domiciles due to Heller. They can ban carry in common areas like lounges. Carry outside interior common areas to and from the unit wasn't discussed that I can tell, so it probably falls to local law.

They may not have updated their site. They are forbidden from acting, the ruling doesn't force them to be open and honest about it.
