A Tale of Two Rallies

March 3rd, 2013, The Joyce Foundation funded Illinois Council Against Handgun Ownership held a 'Springfield Social Media Event' to protest guns. Here was the turnout:

March 6th, 2013, The Illinois State Rifle Assoc. held their Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day (IGOLD), mostly promoted through social media.  Here was the turnout:

We had more people talking to individual legislators from their districts than they had total attendees. Hell, we had more people talking photos on the bridge than they had attendees.

Any questions on to where public support really lies?

Now the ICHO is planning a 'rally' on April 11th w/ 'buses from across Illinois' to demand gun confiscation.  I think more comparison photos are in order.

It looks like they made the appropriate amount of signs this time. We usually see a bunch of signs on the ground that could find hands to hold them.
