There’s no humanity there. That's her inner, predatory lizard coming through. After she said that, she stared straight ahead as her forked tongue slithered out of her mouth. It flitted from side to side as it tasted the air, and then quickly slipped back in. She's a hungry reptile on the hunt and it's us that she's hunting.
Didn't I hear that "vermin" are more-or-less protected in DC? I remember reading (possibly here) that exterminators aren't allowed to use lethal traps or poisons. "Catch and relocate" (to Virginia; I bet they're just THRILLED about it there...) is the name of the game.

Chas nailed it first. Politicians aren't human, and therefor this doesn't apply to them.
