Anti-logic: Even when an Anti admits that NICS violations are rarely, if ever, prosecuted and that there is a coordinated effort to shut down as many FFL's as possible through litigation and legislation. Yet the response: " I support a regulated professional industry over private gun sale anarchy." IOW, all firearm sales through licensed FFL's.
So more 'regulation' that does no good whatsoever. There is no reasoning w/ a mentality like this.

That's how they banned handguns in Chicago. Just made you need a special permit...then stopped issuing the permit. Then you just wait for the previous generation to wither on the vine or flee the state.
But yeah they aren't looking to ban guns, and they aren't comming for our guns....
@Weerd
That's what that high cap mag ban they tried last year would have done too. No new sales, existing mags are grandfathered in, but no transfers at all, not even a will.
So what does that do? Once all existing owners die or the mags are lost/destroyed, there can be no more legal ones at all. But we're supposed to believe that's not a ban, just because they're not confiscating the current ones. They must think we're a bunch of idiots.
