So is the nonsense put out about how easy it is to buy grenades etc. helping to catch these wannabee's or encouraging them to try?

I think it's also telling that aspiring terrorists try so hard, and take so much risk, to acquire explosive weapons, when guns are legal.
It's almost as if they realize that guns aren't an especially efficient tool of terrorists.
