At least 40 people were shot over the weekend in Chicago--seven of them fatally. Police are blaming gangs for most of the widespread incidents.
BELLEVUE, Wash., June 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Fifty-two people shot, eight of them fatally in a single Chicago weekend, yet Mayor Richard Daley appears poised to go down screaming in his opposition to the Second Amendment Foundation's lawsuit to overturn his city's handgun ban.
Good thing the city is spending millions of dollars trying to keep the McDonald plaintiffs disarmed.

Right, right, I see your point, but in Mayor Daley's defense, not ONE of those people was shot by Otis McDonald, Adam Orlov or the Lawsons, were they?
I am trying to imagine a scenario where Daily would admit he is wrong. Can't do it.
Violence goes up: Ban guns more and harder.
Violence goes down: Ban worked, ban more and harder.
It has to be something else, because he obviously has no concern for the well-being of the people of Chicago.
