As noted here, there have been numerous reports of the authorities in MD doing checks on registered firearm owners.
Apparently there has been a response by them to inquiries made by local media and will be broadcast Saturday at Noon (Eastern) on AM 930 WFMD and Online.

I would certainly like to know what's going on with that.
If they were to come around inquiring of me, I would respectfully suggest to them that they inquire of their mothers.
