Holder calls for new Assault Weapon Ban

At a press conference announcing the arrests, Holder also suggested that re-instituting a U.S. ban on the sale of assault weapons would help reduce the bloodshed in Mexico, where last year 6,000 people were killed in drug-related violence.
From ABC News on the conference:

"As President Obama indicated during the campaign, there are just a few gun-related changes that we would like to make, and among them would be to reinstitute the ban on the sale of assault weapons," Holder told reporters

"Just a few changes"? Like banning hundreds of thousands of firearms, complete registration, and suing the firearms industry out of business? Those kind of changes?

Listening to the conference on Cam & Co, Holder stated it's just a matter of 'sequence' until they get to it.

Hopefully Bill Schneider of NewWest has his recipes for crow ready.

The AHSA should go ahead and bend over as well, considering they supported this administration, and are about to help reap its madness.

Of course, those half-wits probably support the AWB, as well.

Supposedly the AHSA has flip-flopped on that stance. I remarked on it awhile back when Ray stated such on Kos. He claims he'll give a reason 'soon'.
